Preventing Colds and Flu

The only portals of entry for cold/flu germs are the nostrils, ears, and mouth or throat.  They tend to build up colonies in these places, and attack the host from there.

These simple steps will destroy the colonies, and allow your immune system to fight back against the germ/virus…  thus ending your cold or flu infection within days rather than weeks.

Frequent hand-washing.
Hands-off-the-face approach. Resist all temptations to touch any part of face.
Gargle twice a day with warm salt water.
clean your nostrils at least once every day with warm salt water. Use a Neti pot.

A few drops of hydrogen peroxide into the ears will remove the germs located there.  Do not use more often than twice per day for 3 days, as hydrogen peroxide also removes ear wax.  Colloidal silver can be substituted for hydrogen peroxide if you have it.  Colloidal silver does not remove the wax, so it is safe for longer use.
Boost your natural immunity with foods that are rich in Vitamin C (Oranges and other citrus fruits). If you have to supplement with Vitamin C tablets, make sure that it also has Zinc to boost absorption.  Take these several times per day as vitamin C passes through the system quickly. (every 6-8 hours)
Drink as much of warm liquids as you can. Drinking warm liquids has the same effect as gargling, but in the reverse direction. They wash off proliferating viruses from the throat into the stomach where they cannot survive, proliferate or do any harm.

I have been using this system for years, and since I started using it I have never had a cold or flu for more than 4 days after starting the regimen.  That is right , completely healthy after 3-4 days.
